MICHAEL H. RUXTON (September 30, 1950 - October 12, 2007)

Michael H. Ruxton, 57 years old of Antioch, passed away on Friday October 12, 2007 at his home in Elizabeth, IL.

Born September 30, 1950 in Chicago, the son of the late Henry and Marianne (Bicknase) Ruxton, he has lived in Antioch since 1979.

Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman serving as the President of the Wild Turkey Federation Antioch Chapter for many years. He was a member of the Ducks Unlimited Northern Illinois Chapter often times assisting with the Greenwing activities and a member of the Sequoit Masonic Lodge #827 A.F. & A.M..

Mike worked for the Village of Antioch as the Superintendent of Sewer and Water retiring in 2005, was a Packer backer, and enjoyed training his dogs for the hunt.

On September 7, 1974 he married Debbie Nauta in Waukegan, IL. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Debbie; his two brothers Sean (Robin) and Daniel both of Bristol, WI; his sister in law Sharon of Salem, WI and his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Patrick.

A memorial celebration of his life will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday October 20, 2007 at Reflection's, 38564 N. Edgewood Lake Villa, IL.
